Salvation is a gift from God that you do not have to earn. Every human has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God according to Romans 3:23. That means that unless something was done about sin, then no person could have a relationship with God because God can't be around sin. So God, because He loves humans so much, gave His only son to humans. His son is named Jesus and when God sent Jesus Earth in the flesh, God actually placed all sin of all humans for all time on Jesus His son. His Son, Jesus is also God and He was the only perfect one and the only one strong enough to handle all the sin of all mankind. So Jesus died and then three days after he died, God raised Him up from the dead- sin free!! This is the most miraculous thing: that if you decide to believe this {and you can prove it by saying that you do believe it} then God- the Creator will come and live in your heart. He will save you from paying for your sin yourself. This is something you cannot earn but it will cost you. Once you make this decision, your life will change. God will begin working with your heart to teach you how to make better decisions and see things the way that He does. Please don't take this decision lightly because God wants a real relationship with you. He doesn't want you to just say some prayer so you can stay out of Hell paying for your own sin. He wants to teach you to and cause you to live your life based on His Word and direction for the rest of your life. He has the sin thin handled so let Him handle it and you enjoy a better life!  I am not going to tell you what to say to God because I am going to ask you to sit down, think about this decision and just talk to Him like He is your friend because He is. Once you have made your decision that you are going to let Jesus be the boss of your life, you will need a Bible .
